An Introduction to the Archive of Lost Tails at Kolonin in Arvika

I have been invited by Kolonin in Arvika to introduce and showcase parts of my latest research project titled Archive of Lost Tails. Archive of Lost Tails is an investigation into the visual representations of docked horse tails and how the practice of this terrible and painful tradition can be traced through etchings and paintings throughout art history.

In the windows of Kolonin I will showcase a selection from my visual archive of artworks that depict horses whose tails have been docked, nipped, or bound. March 6 I will be in Arvika and Kolonin to introduce my work and on March 7 I will hold a short drawing exercise on site.
Welcome!
