David and his Golden Key is a work consisting of seven graphite drawings that serve as a re-drawing, translation and re-grouping of two of David Teniers the Younger´s paintings. The two original works present a room showing paintings orchestrated by the principles of the Salon-Style. The actual framing of the drawings is an echo of that system. Here I present five of the seven drawings. The total size of the entire work is approximately 70 x 290 cm.
